Why a "Happy" Historian?

Because I love History! I cannot wait until I am in a classroom teaching young minds about our great country and the others that helped in getting us to where we are today. It is important for people to know where we came from in order for them to know where to take and lead us as a country.

Did you know that 1 out of every 5 Americans cannot tell you which country we won our Independence from? I am sorry, but that is a sad fact!

I take great pride in my love and passion for History. I hope each and everyone of you enjoy my daily posts about history. I can't say that it will all be "new to you" news, but I will do my best!
